Information for neighbours

The builder at the site will always try to keep impacts to a minimum. Where works are planned that may impact you, we’ll provide you with a work notice in your letterbox. The works notice will contain information about what’s happening on site and how any disruptions will be managed.

Site works will operate within standard hours as determined by your local city council. In the City of Port Phillip standard working hours are:

• 7 am and 6 pm Monday to Friday
• 9 am and 5 pm on Saturday.

Building activities are not allowed to occur on Sundays or public holidays.

There may be circumstances where the builder will need to work outside of standard working hours. For example, during a concrete pour, situations can arise that delay activities and cause works to go overtime. These situations are rare. 

In cases where the builder plans to undertake activities outside of standard working hours, they will seek permission from the local Council and notify the community in advance. 

Near neighbours will receive works notices in their letterboxes.
