About the project

As part of the Regional Housing Fund, we’re building more and better homes in Wodonga.

We know that the Wodonga community needs more high-quality housing, and this project will deliver at least 41 new homes, replacing 17 ageing public housing homes in Schlink, Hereford and Carkeek Street.

Located close to parklands and amenities, the new homes will be a mix of one, 2 and 3-bedrooms and will be modern, accessible and energy-efficient.

The redevelopment also provides an opportunity to improve connection and access to nearby parklands.

Consultation is at the heart of the planning process, and we will consult with stakeholders and the community throughout the project to understand their needs and to make sure the plans deliver the best possible housing outcomes for the Wodonga community.

We’ll provide details here about how you can participate in future consultation opportunities when they become available.
